Only Up 2

release
April 6, 2025
The ultimate Minecraft parkour challenge is back, bigger than ever! Only Up 2 features a world that’s five times larger, a co-op mode, hundreds of paths, and relentless challenges that will truly test your parkour skills. Get ready to push your limits in a vast new world filled with exciting obstacles!

The new world

With Only Up 2, we’ve significantly expanded the world – more buildings, more paths, and above all: more possibilities. The new map now offers even more potential for new routes, hidden shortcuts, and creative climbing paths. We’ve paid special attention to ensuring good playability and a fair yet challenging difficulty – both on the main routes and during free exploration.

To continue access to Only Up 1, there’s now a balloonist named Max at the starting point, who will teleport you between different worlds. Alternatively, during your run, you can use a new item in your hotbar that allows you to switch between worlds at any time.

Specialblocks

To enhance the gameplay experience, we've introduced new special blocks that you'll encounter throughout the world. These blocks provide unique movement opportunities, adding an extra layer of excitement to your journey.

Launchpad

As in the first version, the Launchpads will launch you through the air – but this time, with more precision and reliability. You can now see the direction of your flight before you take off. The trajectory remains consistent and is no longer affected by external factors.

Trampolin

Trampolines help you reach higher platforms. With each jump, you gain a bit more height. You'll need to carefully consider whether to take another jump or risk leaping to the next platform.

Speed Stripe

Speed strips temporarily boost your velocity, but the effect doesn't last long. If you get too reckless with the speed, you might end up falling!

Fan

The fans allow you to float upwards, making them perfect for gaining altitude. The airflow can vary in height and strength, offering different levels of lift.

Trophies and Quests

In Only Up 2, a total of 100 trophies are hidden throughout the world, waiting to be collected by you!

Additionally, you have the opportunity to earn trophies through challenges! These challenges unlock progressively and offer new goals over time. Some challenges won't reward you with trophies, but instead with exclusive cosmetics, which can only be obtained in Only Up 2.

Balloon Runs

Balloon Hunts are a brand-new feature in Only Up 2, accessible through the balloonist Max at the starting point of the world.

These challenges begin at various points across the map and guide you along set routes, marked by brightly glowing balloons. Your goal is to collect and pop these balloons as you progress, testing your agility and precision. Each hunt offers a unique challenge, with the balloons leading you on an exciting path filled with obstacles and opportunities to show off your skills.

There are a total of six different Balloon Hunts, each featuring unique routes, leaderboards, and individual challenges.

The grand finale is the Black Balloon Hunt – an exceptionally difficult parkour course that will truly test your skills. Those who manage to conquer this challenge will be rewarded with exclusive cosmetics, making this the ultimate test for seasoned players looking for something extra special!

Co-op Mode

With our new co-op mode, you and a friend can take on an additional challenge together. You’ll be connected by a rope, and can only move a limited distance apart. This close connection brings both advantages and risks. While it allows you to support each other, working together to overcome obstacles, it also means that a mistake from one player can affect both, adding an extra layer of tension and strategy to the experience.

At certain moments, it’s essential that you support each other. If one of you falls, the other can pull them back up. However, the co-op mode also comes with its challenges: the rope connection can easily lead to misunderstandings, causing you to hinder or even drag each other down if you don't work together effectively. The co-op mode is exclusive to Premium players, but only one of the two players needs to have the Premium rank to take on the challenge together.
