Fresh Content for Random Item Battle

We are super excited to present the first major update for Random Item Battle! When we originally released this minigame, our goal was clear: regardless of randomness, unlike other variants, our main focus should be on action and fun. That is why we optimized the drop chances of items and blocks to squeeze maximum excitement out of every single round.

This is exactly where the new update comes in. We are bringing new blocks and items into the game that do not exist in vanilla Minecraft, but integrate seamlessly without requiring any learning curve. Almost all new items share a common goal: to make gameplay easier, more varied, and above all, more fun!

New Blocks

The new blocks are specifically designed to give you entirely new freedom of movement. Up until now, getting around mostly relied on regular building or using water buckets. Starting now, you have several new options at your disposal to gain height and cover distances much more gracefully.

• BreezeTurbine: Generates an updraft that floats you several blocks upward and can cushion potential fall damage.
• Feather Scaffold: Similar to slime blocks, web scaffolding bounces you upward. However, instead of decreasing with each bounce, your jump height continues to increase.
• Catapult Piston: Launches you in the direction indicated by the arrow, allowing you to jump onto opponent structures or serve as a launchpad for your Elytra.

New Items

With the new items, you get brand-new ways to force your opponents out of cover. You no longer have to wait around for a Spear, Mace, or Elytra to finally drop. From now on, you can attack your enemies in much more versatile ways. There are also new defensive options to cleverly fend off incoming attacks.

• Rocket Boots: Allow you to jump up to 10 blocks high, letting you effortlessly scale heights or attack opponents more easily from above.
• Explosive Arrow: Can be fired with a bow or crossbow and creates a massive explosion upon impact.
• Creeper Arrow: Spawns a charged creeper at the target location. Used correctly, this creature blows up your enemies for you.
• Helicopter: Allows you to break your fall or hover through the air for a short duration before the device breaks.
• Speed Boots: Perfect for escaping a persistent opponent. But beware: in all the hectic movement, don't run off the platform into the void!
• Ed the Enchanter: This special spawn egg summons Ed the Enchanter, who instantly enchants any item of your choice directly to level 20.
• Dynamite: Can be thrown and explodes after a short delay. The explosion radius is huge, making it ideal for blowing up enemy bases.
• Shrink/Growth Suit: Putting on this suit alters your body size. You will turn either huge or tiny, depending on the suit chosen.
• Fire Sword: This weapon not only deals high base damage, but also sets hit opponents on fire for several seconds.
• Wither Skull: Throw the skull at your enemies to trigger an explosion and infect them with the dangerous Wither effect.
• Infinite Ender Pearl: As the name suggests, this pearl is not consumed when thrown. To balance out its infinite uses, it doesn't fly quite as far.
• Chicken Parachute: Deploy the parachute during freefall so it slowly and safely brings you back down to solid ground.
• Sticky Shoes: The honey on the soles of these shoes reduces your knockback and keeps you grounded in risky situations.
• Lightning: Strikes the highest-positioned player in the round. Deals damage and weakens the target for a few seconds. Can be countered with a lightning rod.
• Astronaut Helmet: Equipping this helmet reduces gravity. While it makes you slightly slower in the air, it gives you significantly more time to react.

New Maps

We have also added 4 new maps and updated several existing maps with new items and minor tweaks.

Changes to existing maps:

• End (6x2): The middle area was slightly elevated, and a barrel containing an Elytra was added.
• Honey (6x1): A shulker box containing Sticky Shoes was added in the middle.
• Dynamite (8x1): The amount of TNT in the center was slightly reduced.

Brand new maps:

• Chains (6x1)
• Nether (2x3)
• Bamboo (12x1)
• Oasis (8x1)
